While I was exploring old cars, saw a flock of migrating storks hovering above the parking lot where the exhibition held.
Being a corridor between the Mediterranean and the Arab desert, Autumn seasons bring millions of birds crossing Israel's sky from north countries to south somewhere in Africa.
RAW converted into JPEG, cropped all sides, main picture is F9.0, 1/320, ISO100.

Hello Ike,
Both photos provide sharp and well exposed views of a number of beautiful birds. You had a hard choice of seven storks spread all over the screen or nine storks flying on a perfect diagonal. Both photos are anyway very appealing.

Luckily, they're only storks, and not vultures, and the bg blue sky makes a terrific backdrop. Good sharpness and upward pov. Tfs!

Hi Ike,maybe they are common in Israel but storks are very rare in my region, and they comes back after a lot of year. A lucky opportunity taken in 2 perfect pics very sharp despite the distance! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Ike,
Actually, I have a slight preference for your photo in the WS where we see the storks flying more or less in line from bottom right to top left.
They are very beautiful birds that are not really shy about people, especially when they are on top of their nest.
In Spain I've often seen a lot of storks, both in summer and in winter. Consequently, I wonder whether all storks are migratory birds.

You took the storks all with open wings, this is wonderful on thermals.
The a lot birds above Israel, are sometimes a trouble for the airplanes to the airport!

What a change from the aerial items you usually feature!
These storks, well observed and captured, look to be acting like gliders, using the warm air currents to sail through the sky.

Hello Ike,
This simple scene is lovely. The sky is a perfect, cloudless blue, and your sharp focus lets us see details of the birds' beaks and wings. The WS is nice, too, but I prefer this main photo. The view of the storks is a bit closer. Take care!

Hello Ike,
You've made the sky so 'extraordinary' beautiful with the flock of migrating storks - flying majestically and manoeuvring their wings with so ease in the air.
They all know which direction they are heading , to the south. After hovering in the sky.
Maybe one or two of them ... come from Holland which I don't see them anymore over here.
I also like the 'follow the leader' in the WS. They are as if flying like an 'arrow' pointing to the south :-)
I wonder these seven stocks have their names 'individually' like the seven dwarfs :-)

Hello Ike, Nice view of the flying storks. They contrast beautifully with the blue sky. maybe, I prefer the Workshop pictures. I rarely see flying storks like this. They are rather in the nest or marching on the fields looking for food. Maybe they came from Poland? When I was in Israel many years ago, I saw the meeting of storks with hundreds of them, also black.
