Photographer's Note
So light and darkness already separated on the first day, "darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters..."
Then "...God said, 'Let there be an expanse between the waters' 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. 8 God called the expanse "sky."
And that took place on the second day.
I used auto-enhance and lowered brightness, to emphasize the orange "Spirit" and light/darkness, to get some tone commonality between "the water under the expanse and the water above it" (the water inside the cloud), rather than showing details of cloud and waves.
BONUS: Check the WORKSHOP - a complementary shot of this moment, in a more open scene with vague symmetry. Actually I couldn't decide which one to post as main version.

Hi Daniel,
So distinct different colours of layers catch my eyes. Its dramatic moment! Such a good exposure you have used that the sun beams are cleasrly distinctly visible. Its wonderful! Your workshop posting is also very nice, probably I like that more.
I am giving you the reasons for that- Firstly, in the workshop post the different layers of colours mixes among themselves naturally, their is no distinct layer in that one. Secondly, the colours are more vibrant and thirdly the clouds are distinct and differnt shapes of clouds add to your composition!

I like the three different parts in these picture, foreground very dark almost black, sky above the sea is a wonderful contrast against part three in the heaven.

Before I read your note I thought of Genesis. The effect is so strong there seems to be nothing else. Love the sunbeams. I actually prefer the WS photo although they are both good.

Dramatic as the previous one but in a different way. Darker, but the band of lighted sky between the dark sea and clouds makes a very nice geometry.
You quotation from the bible is well chosen again, you are always very good in your notes.

This looks like a flag. The line between clouds and sky are a little frayed, but I think the black-yellow and blue is availeble for a new country.
