Photographer's Note
The Bahα’ν Gardens in Haifa, located in the heart of the city, comprise a staircase of nineteen terraces extending all the way up the northern slope of Mount Carmel. The golden-domed Shrine of the Bαb, the resting place of the Prophet-Herald of the Bahα’ν Faith, stands on the central terrace, looking across the bay towards ‘Akko.
The upper terrace of this amazing work of architecture and landcape design, is "guarded" by these large stone eagles, overlooking the bay and the Heifa harbour.

Hi Rut, I really like the sharpness in your image against the city backdrop.. You had the sun just right on this one. Well done. Rich

Hi Rut,
Eagles means hunt, power, and high
But I hope it is searching peace in that land not hunting somebody.
To live together peacefully :)
Cheers

Hi Rut
I really like your capture, the depth of field is perfect and I love the brightness of the eagle. His position against the river makes.him stand out even more.
Best wishes
Noel
