Photographer's Note
It is useful to read the note:
Continue with the series of photos from an old classic cars exhibition, which was held in a parking lot near Ha'Ogen junction north-east of Netanya, 32.359, 34.908 on the map.
Those oldies belong to "The Five Club", an Israeli association originating when there were license plates with only 5 number depicted (on my pictures I cloned out the license numbers – as most owners asked).
An old version of a small minivan for commercial use, made by Renault in 1958.

Hello Ike,
an interesting capture in bright yellow and well lit.
Though I grew up in the times when these were suspected to have been common, I can't remember I ever saw one. May be Germans demanded themselves to buy German cars in these days and avoid French imports, to support their economy.
I think that type is called Renault Juvaquatre Fourgonnette. A significant number of them were sold in Saarland, which was closely connected with France after WW II and which was regarded as domestic until 1957 when they rejoined the FRG.

Hello Ike,
I imagine cars like this would have been seen in films of the French "la nouvelle vague" from the late 50's and early 60's, but if any were as bright yellow as this one I wouldn't have noticed it, since the films were in B&W. But this is a delightful vehicle in a colours I don't see so often nowadays. It suits photography perfectly.

Hello Ike,
This canary yellow car is younger than me :)
Apparently Renault wanted a very striking colour at the time although the traffic wasn't that busy then. Or did they want to adapt this car to the Israeli number plate.
If it was completely black, it could be the car of a criminal gang.
Also here a very shining body but difficult to reflect something with that colour.

I'm sure I have not seen such van before. And that style is easily recognizable for sure. Bright yellow colour is obviously not original. Bright sunshine looks really good on that.

Another jewel of old cars, here its yellow color gives a powerful effect, this vehicle I suppose would be used as a cargo transport.
