Hello Ike,

It is interesting to learn about new places, especially when they link to other TE members.

Sometimes, I find myself being surprised, in this case that there is a lovely sandy beach, so close to the city of Tel Aviv.
You show us the fine contrast between the freedom and leisurely character of the beach, and the tall, stern details of the city.
It's a fine composition, the cliff emerging from the r/h corner and leading in a natural curve to the yachts in the marina.

Hello Ike,
The contrasts of brown/red tones in the foreground and the greater grey/light blue area make the photo quite eye-catching. It's also interesting to see this rocky scenery so close to the city. I already knew about the sandy beaches just outside the tenement houses. The neat walkway and the safety ropes make it that this is a popular area for city people in need of fresh air and exercise.

Hi Ike,

The length of the beach is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is shopwing the details of the cliff and of the buildings. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,
A great view down the coastline with a great colour contrast between the cliffs in the foreground and the light blue sea and the towers of the city in the background. Well captured in a well balanced composition.

Hi Ike,
This reminds me a bit Los Angeles or more precisely Santa Monica. There are just a bit more palm trees on the hills there and less high risers.
The beach seems full of people.
Is Tel Aviv a good beach destination for late October?
I did consider it not a long time ago but then there was that rocket attack again, also the rules of entry seemed quite strict.

I prefer this shot to the other one captured with a longer lens
because it shows more of the Tel Aviv City, despite thick haze.
The cliff elegant diagonal line stretching from the left-hand side adds an artistic accent to the crowded beach below. Nobody can tame the weather wherever he goes to take pictures :)

Hello Ike,

Interesting high cliffs not far from the Tel Aviv centre. I find it good that the edge of the cliff is protected. Nice beach. There are still people swimming. Nice colours.
