the Tarikhaneh mosque of damghan belongs to the early islamic period,after the Fahraj jama Yazd
.its foundation dates beak to the 2nd-3rd century AH.the architectural style of this historic building
is clearly sasanid.the most important port of this mosque is its particulary simple western prayer hall.
excavation carrid out on thr sides of the courtyard have revealed pillar pedestals which show that the
mosque had other prayer halls as well.the seljuq period minaret rising hear this historic monument is dated 417 AH.
