Photographer's Note
Statues of boys, Daneshjoo Park, Tehran.
Known as the Vali-ahd (Crown prince) Park before the revolution, this park was built beside the city theatre of Tehran in late 1960s, in the former place of the Municipality's cafe (Kaafe Shahrdaari) which consisted of an old restaurant building and a small lake as a recreational area.
The photo shows the remaining bronze statues in the park, made during the Shah's era. There were 7 statues of boys and girls playing around but unfortunately 2 of them are left now. The others were missed through time!
