This is door knob in a Kerman ancient building. Door knob is an important part of a building because you see and touch it upon your contact with that building. Door knobs in traditional style are so beautiful and in a way an artwork.

Beautiful door knob and at the same time ornament, great blue colour and pattern. Pity that you cropped a bit the top of the pattern but anyway it is lovely.

Hi,
A classic shot of this intersting object, which used to be a popular tool in old days. By judging the size of this door knob, I think it was the one supposed to be used by men, since the ones for women are normally smaller.
