The British Virgin Islands (BVI) is a British overseas territory, located in the Caribbean to the east of Puerto Rico. The islands make up part of the Virgin Islands archipelago, the remaining islands constituting the U.S. Virgin Islands. Technically the name of the Territory is simply the "Virgin Islands", but in practice since 1917 they have been almost universally referred to as the "British Virgin Islands" to distinguish the islands from the American Territory.[1] To add to the regional confusion, the Puerto Rican islands of Culebra, Vieques and surrounding islands began referring to themselves as the "Spanish Virgin Islands" as part of a tourism drive in the early 2000s. Administratively, these islands are part of Spanish speaking Puerto Rico, and were historically ruled by Spain.

This shot of yours reminds me of the beautiful beaches of the Andaman and Nicobar islands of India..!! beautiful composition..what colours and I loved the inclusion of the leaves on the top of the shot..!! absolutely calendar material..!!

Hey Franco,
A very good point of view and composition, with many details, the elements in the top of the image go very well with the rest of it, and dont represent an obstruction. A welcoming motive for this time of year, here in Europe at least, and I`m taking it really is that nice. Lovely colors, and lighting.

Hi Franco,
this is no unfair! Yes, summer... I think there is a lot of people here eagger to have summer as quicly as possible. Most lovely capture of summer feeling, this empty benches as an invitation to sit on them and enjoy the view over amazing cyan sea and with summer breeze genzly touchg my face. :)

Hi Franco, hmmm kind of pictures that don't let me indifferent, never, impossible :)
I want to swim in that sea ! I would love to visit once virgin islands, interesting note, i just know the us virgin island for it's best basketball player, tim duncan.
Perhaps a little lack of sharpness here, but this picture creates in me a sharp desire to go back to caraibes ;)

Good composition but its a pity that you have trimmed a part of the umbrella...
the colors are fine but a little level adjustment is suggested :)
