Photographer's Note
Dear friends,
I present here one of a set of exposures I shot over in Richmond.
In this scene is a railbridge that crosses the Thames upstream in Richmond, just beside the Twickenham Road bridge - which can just be seen in the background.
I arrived here well before dark to be able to shoot during the blue hour. In this view I am shooting towards the light from the afterglow of the sun.. (already set at this time).
In seeking to emphasise this light I played with the colours and white balance to get this mood.
Just a short walk away is the Richmond lock (which I have posted here on TE and also TL).

what most attract me in this image are the red tones, specially on water and bridge. A lot attractive perspective and well executed sharpness. Pleasant view. Well done!

Hello Daniel,
I like to see the fine details in the engineering, as bridges have always been interesting subjects!
The scenery is well exposed, the warm reddish tones from the artificial light gominate the image...
Well composed presentation with good lines!

Hi Daniel, your shots in low light are quite exceptional. And I have learnt from recent experience that it is a difficult craft to master. The detail here is crisp and sharp, yet the colours are both warm and natural. Keep up the good work, Roberto

Hi Daniel!
Your are trully great with night shots, the "blue" and the twillight hour. You are great in managing artificial lights, but it's not just that. Here we also see a great composition and an impressive perspective. Congratulaitons!

the red boat is a perfect counterpoint to the massiv bridge, perfect quality again !
