Another of Britains many sporting past times, Moto GP. I took this at the end of a very wet and cold day at Donington race track. this was about my hundreth attempt to get everything right.

Hi Mark,
You have to focus more on the bike, there is to much space in front of it. A lower shutter gives you mare blur in the background when using panning technique. I have two motorbike pictures in my gallery...check to out to see what i mean.
The overall sharpness is a bit low, bit i have to admit that the weather conditions this year were really terrible so in that case you did a fine job.
Just keep it up....takes years to get a real master in this kind of work.

Hi Mark,
I never got the hang of shooting fast things, so for me this is a good attempt and certainly it conveys a sense of speed. I like the bit of space in front of the bike, it sort of gives it 'somewhere to go.' We were at Donnington for the Moto GP two years ago, we were soaked through so I can appreciate how difficult it must have been for you. A fine effort Mark, well done.
