Nice long exposure series. I'm more or less in the same mood, even though I personally don't do it on purpose. Like the blue strokes of paint, the world seen through a pint of beer, in the alleys of Cardiff. Pubs, bars, hope you're not getting drunk every weekend, Maciek. It just wouldn't suit your software engineering profile...

Bonsoir Maciek,
I had to open and look!
This picture is so very attractive by the way you have composed it with that clever mix of light and bright and dark colours. The mouvement is there and we can feel the ambiance, really lovely!
* I only hope it's not because you want to follow the "trend" - :o) - but just because it happened that way... So many "blurried fancy" photos nowadays... Or maybe I just need to go to the optician? :o)))

A picture into everything to move seems itself: The people, the colors, the whole area. In addition comes the large coloredness of the picture . Only the woman with the black hair gives a firm point to the picture. Again once a beautiful and photographically very well realized picture. Many greetings, Wolfgang.

Hello Maciej.

Something must be wrong with my eyes: lots of blur in your photo, and Porteplume giving a smiley, LOL :)
I really like how this turned out, Maciek - the 1 sec gives a good dynamic impression while still clearly retaining the context of the scene and the well-arranged characters in the frame. I particularly like the stop-motion effect with the guy in the lower left corner. The color scheme of this one is also good, with the dominant blue in the middle. Nice work, creative shooting.

Hi Maciej, having tried something like this myself recently, I know how difficult it is to achieve a usable result, let alone one with the quality of this one. The composition is excellent, particularly considering the conditions in which you were working. Colour saturation is first class, as are exposure accuracy and noise suppression (you don't mention having used noise reduction software). Simply from TE, I'm beginning to conclude that the EOS 5D delivers the best results of all DSLRs in experienced hands (and I include the 1Ds Mark II). Very well done. Stephen

Pretty cool shot here Maciej. Theres a very fine line between shots like this that work effectively, and the shots which look like somebody discovering exposure for the first time, and you've pulled it off successfully. The rushing bodies at various locations in the shot give a great nightlife feel, and certainly a feeling I experience in the later parts of the night. Well done.

nice dynamic feel to this one, good creative use of exposure. i think you just got it right, not too much blur, enough to see whats going on. nice colours in this one as well.

turning out to be quite a series maciej.. i like the coolor cast here better, the light is great too... i kinda wish for something with a stronger impact to catch my eye and rest on it a bit, but i'm not sure.. cool effect on her face... love the way the blur suggests the guy turning his head as she passes by.. hope there's more..

Hi Maciej
I like the efeect of the way you use exposuretime and colours and people. Never have tried something like that. Interesting and fun to do I guess.

The woman on the right really makes this shot work for me. She has a kind of 1950s look about her. The blurs are good and interesting.

That's wild...and beautiful, Maciej. It even works as an abstract swirl of colors at the thumbnail stage, then later, when one opens the thing, one is delighted by all those moving ghosts we can see dancing around the bar.
Very nice work I have always championed your Cardiff pics, Maciej, remember? Each one of them hard to come by, hard earned.
Best,
Francis
