Photographer's Note
GWR panier crossing Hapmpton Lode bridge on the Severn Valley Railway during the Branch Line Gala yesterday. It is unlikeley that this is a scene that would have been seen in steam days as the engine is GWR and the carriages are Gresley Teaks from the LNER

A nice shot of this collection of 'oldies'. Creates a great athmosphere. Anyway, I like trains, used to play with them a lot, but since I am not a specialist perhaps you would be so kind as to explain what the abbreviations GWR and LNER stand for?
Thanks and have a nice Sunday.

Hi Nigel,
This is a very beautiful picture of old railroads, just like the other recent ones in your gallery. Rich colors and strong contrasts. It emphasizes the dark steam of the engine. Well done!

Hi Nigel,
The best balanced shot of yours from this place I think. Good timing with the engine and signal in right places. Powerful smoke. No luck with light.
