Signalwoman and Driver about to swap the single line tokens at Hampton Lode Station on the Severn Valley Railway today during the Branch Line Gala.As the line is single track apart from at the stations trains are not allowed into the next section until they have these tokens.

Hi Nigel, I really like the mood of the shot and the atmosphere you've managed to capture here; the steam from the train, the atmospheric haze in the distant hills, and the rusty red of the building on the left create a timeless quality. Best Regards, linda

A nice mood of tradition in this shot, Nigel. The steam and the dark train colors promote that mood. Nice to know some things are still done manually, we don't just put faith in a computer to regulate things. The telephoto is a good choice, to avoid too much context that would compete for attention.
