Photographer's Note
A wet miserable day trying to find somewhere to stop out of the rain. Not easy with these April showers we are having in May! The rain almost stopped for a few moments and I was able to get out of the car and capture the lovely yellow of the rape seed against the sky. Hope the rest of our stay here will provide more sunshine.

After a good rain shower can you make excellent pictures
But this image missing a little bit sharpness
Composition with yellow golden field makes your picture attractive.

The rain resulted in a beautiful soft photo, almost like an impressionist painting. Great both small and large.

Hello David,
Even the Cotswolds don't quite show their beauty in the persistent rain!
This scene has just what you want, though, with strong colour contrasts and fine dividing lines.
I'm not sure if you have access to PS when on holiday but a quick 'smart fix' would have sharpened this nicely.

Hello David, a poor weather day, so maybe the light is not the best. Nevertheless viewed as a large image it has the quality of a painting, very good.
