Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

I was driving though this very picturesque area of North Yorkshire, when I noticed this house was for sale.

I have never really noticed it before but the for-sale sign drew my attention. I just could not resist popping out of the car for a quick photograph because it was such an attractive building!

It is called Yew Tree Farm, a delightful 400 year old farmhouse and, optionally, a separate detached cottage.
It is located in the lovely quiet village of West Marton in the Yorkshire Dales, between Skipton and Clitheroe.

According to the vendors, the farmhouse property has been vacant for some time and presents an ideal opportunity for a new owner to modernise the property to their own design - a discreet way of saying it needs completely updating!

Well you will need plenty of money, the cost is £450,000 just for the farmhouse or £650,000 if you wish to include the adjacent cottage.

After taking the photograph, and with a deep sigh, I just moved on!!!

I will show a slightly different view as a workshop.

Thanks for your interest, Bev :-)
