Trafalgar Reflections

Now that I checked my photos of my latest visit to London, I might as well post some more. Here’s a view of Trafalgar Square in Central London through the reflections in the windshields of a small lorry and an iconic London double-decker bus, a New Routemaster, both waiting for the traffic lights at the junction of Trafalgar Square and Whitehall.

Trafalgar Square, named for the Battle of Trafalgar, won by the British Navy in the Napoleonic Wars in 1805, is home to several buildings and monuments which can also be found in this photo, albeit in heavily contorted shapes, like the National Gallery, Nelson’s Column, the Equestrian Statue of Charles I, and St Martin-in-the-Fields Church.
