Your excellent upload today has introduced me to your work (I joined TE fairly recently). I enjoy so much of what you produce. This picture has so much vibrancy - love the bright reds against the blue smoke. Great composition.

good to see you back :)
what a stunning picture! I absolutely love the way you composed and cropped the scene, with the small "hot" corner vs. the big "cold" space. the man's shape and contours are beautifully designed and described by the lateral light, with the smoke creating a fantastic atmosphere... I'd love to see more shots from this event :)

Hi Kev,
Great fine details (especially the sparks and also the edge of the blue mist). The sparks contrast well with the blue (hot/cold) and the crop makes a a neat composition. There are such opportunities to create art from art and you have taken it well.

Smoke and fire create a great visual punch, moreover blue light from the left makes the image dramatic. The spectacular image is perfectly composed by a proficient photographer.
