The Hurlers
The Hurlers is a group of three stone circles in Cornwall, UK. The site is half-a-mile (0.8 km) west of the village of Minions on the eastern flank of Bodmin Moor approximately four miles (6 km) north of Liskeard[1] at OS grid reference SX258714.
The circles were first noted by historian John Norden in 1584 and the first detailed description was made by William Borlase in 1754. The tradition states that they are men turned to stone for profaning the Lords Day by taking part in a hurling match; the arrangement of the stones led to the name

Hi Leslie,
I think it is the timing of the shot that helps this photo stand out. The sun giving the structure a orange tint and the lines created from the shadows.
Thank you for sharing

Hello Leslie,
You have lined the stones up well when composing this shot. The warm tones of the late evening sun bring a particular mood to the shot. The building in the background also seems interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Les, these standing stones are fascinating, one of my favourite themes. You've used a good POV to illustrate their formation. The light's lovely and I like the play of shadows. TFS and have a good week, Lisa

Hi Les,
This is beautiful, the composition of the stones shows off the circular shape beautifully, and the warm light suits them so well. A very mystical place. The inclusion of the castle adds a great element as well.
Thanks for sharing!
Noel
