Photographer's Note
Well another shot of the my photgraphed London Eye.
As I have said in my previous posts, there are many pictures of this subject so I will not tell you all about it, I will jsut tell you what I did to this picture.
Well this picture was taken on a 20 second exposure, resting on the wall of a bridge, (no tripod :( ) much like another picture I have of the eye, but this one was zoomed in on just the eye and not the river.
PP included cropping out sky, changing colours balance, totally taking out the red to give the blue look to this picture, reduced the blue and green dramatically.
I know that this shot should maybe be on TrekLens, but I changed another picture like this and it was very well recieved, so I thought why not!

Hi Steven, well this one carries a great sensation of motion and due to the main blue component looks imho much better than "the eye at dusk".

Here is that thing again:)
This time you managed to get very well on the picture again. The contrast is on this picture stronger because of the dark blue. (But the pink one was also very nice, especially because of the reflection).

You have good resited during 20 seconds against this wall. The motion blur of the wheel is very good. Bravo, Steven!

Good coloring and tight crop, a little bit more from down would have made the wheel more loose and based in the comosition I think.

Again a good effect you got from the very long exposure, Steven, making the Eye look like a dangerous high-speeed rollercoaster. Good cropping to dedicate the majority of your frame to the wheel, and I think I like the color balance in this one much better than the earlier one. Good job.

A nice and different view - well done with a nearly handheld camera -
Thanks Steven, for sharing this fine work - I like the frame as well.

Very good night shot. The colors and motion blur are great! Also like the POV and the tilted horizon giving more dinamic to the scene. Eventually a bit more sharpness would be nice to bring up more details.

Hi Steven,
Great shot of the eye! You captured the motion blur well, and did so without too much overexposure from the bright lights. I like the blue tone you used.
I was in London in August 2003 for business, and was drawn to the eye in terms of a photographic subject. A truly impressive piece of architecture.
I know there are some different opinions on what is suited for TE & TL (as you mentioned in your note here). I think if the photo your posting shows or tells something about the country, whether it be culture, food, nature, scenic, architecture, people, etc. etc. and complimented by a note of some sorts. But, that's my opinion...
I don't think I've seen your portfolio before Steven, you have some good work here. I'll be sure to check more of your work- and your girlfriends new account...
Cheers!
- Dan
