Photographer's Note
The only POV to show a full view of the Mealt waterfall, is to maneuver to a most outwards point on the observation point over the rock-shelf and take a slantwise perspective.
I like the result here, the graceful sun was out for few minutes, brought contrast and colors, found depth with its double meaning.
The source of the water is from a lake inland, simply called Loch-Mealt, a narrow creek leading towards the opening on top of the cliff.

This is a great rich colorful photo and u really like the perspective. Even if there were other ways to shoot the whole falls, I imagine this would be one of the best ways to present it anyway.
The waterfall is kind of like a diagonal divide between the two pictures, one blue and Grey, one green and orange. Nice one!

Hello Ike,
What a great POV down the cliffs and the waterfall, which is falling diagonally to the corner of the photo here. The colours are very bright thanks to the fine light and I like the contrast between the green and blue in particular.

You're obviously not scared of heights! I did a quick correction of the tilt and it suddenly became alarmingly precipitous! I am not scared of heights either as long as the path in not narrow with rock overhangs, its very windy, or the path or cliff-face is crumbling or deeply cracked or undercut. Tfs!

Fascinating to see the waterfall from this side. Good idea to hold your camera in this position with the line of the rocks and the water diagonal in the scene. The sunshine indeed makes the colours bright and the contrast attractive.

This view is even more breathtaking than the earlier one, because you force me to look straight down the hillside to the very hard rocks far below. There are also some quite attractively contrasting colours here.

I could not understand your photograph from the thumbnail, but absolutely love it full size! The unusual angle, besides capturing the entire waterfall, creates a most unusual composition of diagonal lines.

I like this composition diagonally, I understand that difficult to capture from a point where you do not have amplitude of movements, ideal the varied yellow-green tone of the grass and the rocks a little reddish, that the ray of sun highlights even more.
Very beautiful colorful, in a few tones, very attractive.

What a spectacular view over the edge of the cliff with the water crashing down. I remember you promised to show this picture.

The sun made the vegetation look fresh green and the water in the sea beautiful dark blue.

I have to remember your reportage if I ever plan to get to Isle of Skye in the future.
Beautiful wonder of nature. You had also a lovely light conditions -such a warm light focus on your main theme.
Interesting idea to take it diagonally I suppose it may have been for practical reasons but the effect is very attractive.
