Photographer's Note
A long exposure shot of St John's Point lighthouse in County Down. There's been a Lighthouse at St. John's Point since 1844. The original Lighthouse was painted white. In 1902 the all white tower was changed by adding three black bands and then in 1954 it was changed again by replacing the two white bands with yellow bands. And that's how it has remained to the present day.

Stunning shot thanks to the long exposure. The lights and colours are also good and the yellow stripes of the lighthouse is the cherry on ice.

Such a beauty bringing together so much movement, all the layers of colour, textures and stillness in both water and sky, strengthened by the stark contrast of yellow & black painted lighthouse. Great atmospheric image, drama in bucket loads! Congrats
