Looking down on Shalford Lock and up the River Wey. This is about a mile from Guildford town centre.
I like the wide-angle distortion that's bent the very rectangular lock into a bulging void, with the family breaking the symmetry.

I think the family balances out the picture nicely, since the off-center lock knocks it out of balance a bit. The only thing I'd change is the darkness just under the gate. That is where the eye ends up, as the focal point, and more detail would make this more interesting. Well done!
