Photographer's Note
I'm celebrating my FIRST ANNIVERSARY here on TE a DAY LATE!!! In true Kev fashion (I miss all the important events habitually) I completely got the date mixed up! So a very warm thankyou to everyone for a year of critique and discussion, sharing of images and above all friendliness!
When it comes down to it TE is ENTERTAINMENT and another way of describing the E word is the A word AMUSEMENTS - so today is a little celebration, in the third pic from my mini-series of reflections from Nottingham, of the fun we have here - the game is trying to guess who the fast young woman in the blue jeans really looks like - I had eight chances to capture her here but man she was too elusive for me! Who's that girl!?

Congratulations for the first year!
I checked my critiques now and I found that my first one was submitted to somebody named KevRyan and the main figure on the picture was Rivaldo. It seems like eternity from that picture and subconciously you made me reflect to this, with your note and the picture which says reflect,reflect,reflect,reflect,reflect,reflect,reflect,reflect to your past. You've been really active on this site, posting almost every day one picture and some had that power of making people think and reflect. Good luck in the future and all the best!

Another interesting and imaginitive photo Kev. I'm enjoying this mini series, makes me want to get out and about with my camera.
Nice note too and a good touch with the Madonna lyrics.

hi kev, and in that 12 months time you have posted 321 pics! its on average 5 pics a week - quite an impressive pace indicating clearly your te-addiction :-))
nice celebration picture today - i like this image a lot: while lookig at it i cought myself awaiting when the verticals shut/turn and the puzzle turns into one huge glass, interesting impression;

Happy TE anniversary, Kev. Very creative shooting on this one, I love the "sliced" look from the staggered reflections where the lady in blue indeed adds a touch of intrigue. Great urban photo. -- Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Congratulation for your first year on TE, for this reason you posted this very interesting picture, we mention many times "good reflection on the water,,,good reflection of the lights on the lake", but this reflection is something different, I see the girl and I don't see her, great work, very good composition with nice colours and sharpness.
Very well captured. Well done.

Hi Kev, congratulations with your first year on TE, you really made a start! Abnd thjanks for a year of very good pictures, and especially your good notes.
Seeing the title, I could only think of Annie Lennox/ Eurithmics, but now I realise that Madonna also had a songtitle like that, and the excerpt is from her song. But I don't think the refelction is madonna ;-)
Very exciting multiple reflection, well seen.
