Photographer's Note

Once again sorry for not posting much over the last few months.

My wife lizzies health continues to improve so hopefully i can take her out for a few runs in the car over our beautiful countryside and coast .
As we have been having high winds and lots of rain lately ,i decided to take some shots of one of the many becks that run off the North York moors .I remembered a place i used to visit with my father and mother, and have a picnic and play with the dog . It to me is an incredible place .I had forgotten how nice it was even on a dreary day and the roots on these trees lining the edge all fighting for their share of water. The water runs off the moors and is clear and lovely ,you can see how the iron ore stains the rocks orange.
Iron ore was once mined all over this area right up to the cliffs at the sea .There are lots of reminders around here of a time long gone .Man seems to always leave his mark!!
I am hoping to return when the suns out and spring has come ,also i think autumn would again be a great time with rich colours .
