Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,
Previously, I showed the outer details of Saint Alkelda's Church; today I am sharing some details of the interior.
This is the stained glass window behind the decorative altar and reredos. It reveals scenes from the Crucifixion and Resurrection.
I could not help but notice the style of the stones around the window and the narrow mullions. It reminded me of the typical style of windows in old farmhouses of the time. It was obviously a well established style.
I will add further interior details as a workshop.

Hello Bev,
Once again this big church of a small parish surprises me. I would hardly have expected such an impressive altar and windows like these. Along with a good light and a very neat composition you managed a delightful photo. The WS view also pleases me. What great luck that no Baroque artist/architect with itchy fingers never had the opportunity to lay his hands on this church.

The tight frame is putting the subject in evidence. The point of view is showing the details of the altar and of the stain glass window. The light is bringing out the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

The arches are fantastic
Your main picture with stained glass window be ansolutely nice .
My advice here, use an tripod or a monopod for make this pictures.
Notwithstanding I like it.
Composition an presentation are pleasant to look at.

This small village also houses some wonderful works of art in its beautiful church.
Very good sharp depiction of the altar retable and the colourful stained glass windows.
In the WS we get to see more of the bright interior of the church.

Hi Bev,a very unique style, lots of wooden parts that looks brand new. Really well preserved, the main photo is perfectly exposed to show all the details and colors of the windows without losing a view of the interior, the perspective in the WS far from the classic photographic schemes is very original. Great reportage from this beautiful little church. Too often I am focused on the exterior and more and more often even give up on getting inside.
Beautiful decoration of the altar. The picture probably used a high ISO because we see some noise in the darker areas but it does not disturb to overall positive impression.

A delightful composition, where there are many beautiful details to entertain, I especially love the stained glass window, with the original stone window and the many figures on glass, the altar and the embroidery are also beautiful.
The great nave of the church on the WS is magnificent.
