Photographer's Note
Hi all,
I present here a shot from a collection of recent light experiments and other lowlight shots taken around Piccadilly last Monday (27th Aug). It is from a series of shots I recently refer to as "Symphony of Lights"
After walking around in the area, I was attracted by this bit of architecture right on the edge of the circus. Here, I am positioned on the other side of Regent Street heading towards Pall Mall / Charing Cross.
As I set up the tripod here, I quickly realised there were opportunities for more than just shooting the architecture in itself. To my immediate right was Jermyn Street. Traffic from there joins this stretch of Regent towards the circus (as there are a series of one-way streets in this area). In that, some London buses will ocassionally pass by and make a sharp right turn from there towards this view.
So after a few 'normal' shots.. and a quick adjustment of exposure settings this is one of the results. Another capture is posted on TL here.

Very nice image, with the blasting red of the bus and its lights which catch the eye. I am surprised by the sharpness of the buildings in the background.

Beautifully lit night shot Daniel. The buildings are bright and sharp. And the light trails add a lovely touch of colour, as does that deep blue sky. I can see why you've cropped the bottom where you did, but it might be worth removing a little more of that tarmac from the bottom. Excellent website, you have a lot of very fine images there.

This one is espcialy good and I love the red of the bus giving plenty of dynamism to your image. The exposure is just perfect and the colors are very faithful. This is a great work !

love the xperiment you did ..the sharpness and the blurry lights are just perfect :) i shot a pic some how the same concept u did with the light xperment but diffrent view in london this summer ( didnt post it yet :P )

Very nice shot! i like how the light traces seem to be coming out from the bus in all directions, a bit like it is on fire.

Splendid! The way you played with the light is fantastic. Normally in slow speed shots, we see the trail of light continuing to the border or frame. The abrubt stunting of the trails creates a fantastic abstraction. Very original & stunning capture. I'm glad I stumbled onto your wonderful gallery today.
