Photographer's Note
The intricacy of the structural supports for this new pedestrian bridge across the river Thames, highlighted by well designed lighting caught my eye.

An interesting shot with much for the eyes to take in - it's almost like a work of modern art, which I guess could be quite apt if I'm correct in thinking its the bridge near the Tate Modern gallery on the South Bank. What a beautiful sky! I love the glowing light reflected on the vertical strut, and the patterns made by the various bridge cables. The only thing that bothers me ever so slightly is that the top of the gables on the building on the other side of the river are obscured, it keeps making me want to duck down a bit to see the tops of them.

This is really a wonderful shot. So much going on, yet everything is so visible.
The colors are great, the angle of view is great, the mix of old and new is great.
The picture has a strange effect, it looks more like a painting than a photograph for some reason that I can't specify.
Perhaps the simplicity of the foreground objects?
Something like a drawing over a more detailed photograph?

You have highlighted the structural reinforcements of the bridge well. The sunset makes for great colors.

Two pictures in one. It'a a very intelligent composition, and the sky is with you. Nice also you had people walking on the bridge.
