Photographer's Note
Another shot from my trip to London, this time on the underground.
I took this picture on a relatively quiet station, the name of which escapes me at this moment.
The constant warnings to "mind the gap" prompted me to take this shot, it was also the only station I went to with the actualy words written on the platform. "Mind the Gap" I believe is also an advertising slogan for Gap the shop so I had an extra reason to take this shot... Was this advertising at its best? :-)
I waited until the train was approacing and snapped this, I like the subtle movement of the train, giving the feeling for how fast the trains move through the platform.
Thanks for looking, any critism and workshops welcome. thanks

Good composition, however just not too sure on the grainy look to it. Still a very good idea however.

I like very much the dynamic of this image, a great composition and your note is very good (and funny!).
It's really a great idea and a great picture! Congratulations!
I find only that it's a bit dark, and wanted to try a WS, but I like Claude's WS so much that I can't propose anything else!

Creative shooting, Steven. Quite an audacious angle, that together with the motion-blurred tube car adds up to a quite dynamic result. Like the others mentioned the "mind the gap" words could be a tad sharper, but I think it also works fine as is. Good shot. Believe it or not, I didn't take a single photo in the underground.

I didn't knew either this warning sign and either the Gap shop... so I learned something with your picture and your note. TE is great for this ! I like also your composition in diagonal and the metro in motion. Great creativity!

Very good dynamism captured here, Steven, good idea and composition; and you made me remember the constant warnings to "mind the gap", exactly one of the things I noticed the first time I went to London, a fantastic city with an amazing atmosphere!
Good work!

Creative shooting - the "Mind the Gap" is very reminiscent of the London Tube... often wondered in my childhood if a "gap" was some sort of tunnel-dwelling monster that attached itself to the underside of trains and grabbed unwitting passengers' feet as they got on and off!
Your angle where the yellow line is parallel with the photo is excellent - it pulls the eye into the photo!

I think it's too dark. But everything else very good - composition, blur and so one and so far.
