Photographer's Note
This is the third photo in this series - a slightly different feel from the last post. These two girls are part of a local African drumming group and were walking around drumming up a partylike atmosphere. They managed to get these two older people to try and dance to the rhythm!

Hi trish, interesting series (which I just spotted), I like the dynamism in this one, though it would be nice to have had a bit more intereaction between the subjects.

I remember that "older" couple...! They were such brilliant dancers...most endearing...they look so British, with their plastic flower necklaces...I love it!
I feel you have caught the atmosphere quite well, though its a little tight and crammed...however, that was pretty much what it was like in that hectic circle of people...
Ilike the inclusion of those Enhland flags at the back...
sliiiightly blurry, but not a bad result with your camera...better than my results at the moment :(

Hi Trish.
Colorful photo and well composed. It's a pity the white sky.
Also could need more sharpness.
Regards.

Hi Trish - i always meant to leave a comment here but obviously never did - this is a great image - the DOF is great and the rhythm running through the four figures is spot on for the subject.....this drumming group is one of our little projects and the two older people are Marj and Mike Jones - the former Mayor of Charnwood and his wife - they are both really keen dancers - a lifetime of it....he's a very approachable and supportive local politician....and a good friend to so many people here ....quite amazing really!!
best wishes Kev
