Photographer's Note
There are two pubs in Langstone with views over the Harbour, The Royal Oak, (my favourite), about 500 years old, was originally four smugglers cottages and has been licensed since 1725. The Ship Inn is next to the road bridge to Hayling Island.
Next to the Royal Oak is the old Tidemill, see my other pictures for information on the mill.
Taken with circular polarizer.
Monopod used.

Hello Michael,
I think I'd call this a really traditional looking English postcard style photo. Really well composed and with a fantastically dense array of colour giving it a really "solid" look overall. A really good job.
(I've tried a mono pod myself, but never really got on with it.)
Regards
Colin

Lovely image Michael - I love to sit on this wall with a pint - haven't been there for years - great use of the filter, nice perspective to get the pub and the mill with the water up - best wishes Kev

Great colours and a wonderful reflection. The skylight filter seems to have the same pleasing effect as the polarizer filter.
Greta image!!!

Superb, clear picture. Composition is just like it should be. I like the framing as well, with accent colour.
Regards!
Seb
