Photographer's Note
You will find the remains of this old vessel at the very end of the Creek in St. Osyth. It's been there for a good many years, slowly being reclaimed by the tides and other forces of nature.
This is a revisit to a similar shot I posted a few months ago from last year. I wanted to try it B/W as I thought it might help with the mood and atmosphere of the starkness of the location.
I added some diffusion and sharpened the boat slightly. I then dodged and burned and colourised it slightly to give it an aged look rather than straight B and W.
Thanks for looking and your feedback.
Regards,
TW

Hi Tim,
All I can say is that your image manipulation has certainly paid off. The contrasting tones are stunning.

Hi Tim, your shot is really fascinating. It shows the time passing by and the b&w is very well used here.

WOW Tim,
wonderful shot you got here man!!
I really love that ghosty scene in black and white, but what really finishes it nicely is those magestic clouds threating you with a good shower, truly amazing, well done and thank you for sharing it with us, regards Salas

A beautiful piece of creativity. I like what you have done here. It gives the wreck an eerie feel to it which is what you intended.
Great shot.

This is an absolutely fantastic composition! What scope for photographing it! The b&w suits it very well. For my personal taste maybe a little too much dodging in certain bits, only the white house and the bit of white on the boat. They've lost quite a bit of quality. Maybe just the tiniest bit less heavy handed and it's perfect. Even without me saying that its a stunning image. Well done ! Rgds, Leilani

This photo makes us dream, perhaps the remains of the whaling ship Pequod, wounded after the death in battle with Moby Dick.
An almost literary treatment of photography, if this is possible, white and black.
Really, I love. Wonderful

Beautiful not-quite-black&white shot. More like a Ghost Ship than a Skeleton.
