Nice shot! The ragged chalk cliffs contrast nicely with the colours of the sky/sea and the grassland behind them. The lighthouse adds an extra something too. You've done well to maintain detail in such a contrasty scene as well. My only slight nit is that the horizon doesn't seem perfectly straight to me - it's only marginal though, maybe rotate it 0.5°CCW? Anyway, well captured :-D

Great start for TE! Wellcome an congradulations for such a picture. The white cliffs are contrasting perfectly to the grass. The lighthouse sticking out of the sea is a real eye catcher. Very carfully captured, Keith.

Hello Keith, welcome to TrekEarth.
This is a very nice first post.
The light is very good.
The presence a the lighthouse and a humanbeing makes you understand the size of the cliff.
Maybe I would have preferred not to have the cliff on the median line. Maybe by having more sea on the right side.
Anyway congratulations.

Hi Keith, Welcome to TE. This is a great shot. Congratulations! The white cliffs against the blue sky and brown grass - well captured. I like how the waves are rolling into the rocks at the bottom of the cliffs.
In my ignorance, would this be the White Cliffs of Dover?

Hi Keith,
Very nice shot. I like the contrast presented by the bulk of the enormous cliffs on the left, balanced with much smaller, but visually strong bright red of the lighthouse on the right. The lighthouse really pulls it together for me. Thanks for sharing and welcome to TE!

It's an imposing spectacle; a marvellous panorama! The human presence allows the evaluation of the cliff scale.

A simply perfect shot of these legendary cliffs! It couldn't be more perfect with the lighting on the cliffs, or the waves and lighthouse, the color of the grass...and last but not least, the lone individual walking with the dog, too!
