Photographer's Note

At last a February sunny day in Brighton, England. Brighton Pavilion sits in all of its Regency splendour, just back from the main road into the city of Brighton and has been linked to this fashionable town on the English south coast for 200 years. A modest villa until 1815 when King George IV (The Prince Regent) asked John Nash to transform it into the magnificent oriental palace that exists today. It was finally completed in 1823. Alas due to the Kings ill-health he only made two visits to the completed palace in 1824 and 1827 sadly he died in 1830.
