Photographer's Note
A sharp snow fall left the northern uplands with a thin covering of snow. Here at Bowlees near Middleton-In-Teesdale we see a small group who have found enough drifted snow to have some fun on sledges!
This is little more than a snapshot as I get used to my new camera, so it was set to landscape mode with a circular polariser filter on the standard kit lens. I have cropped the image slightly to improve the composition but I quite like the dramatic effect of shooting into the late afternoon light.
