Photographer's Note
Leaving Grasmere in rain. At this stage we didn't know where we were going. We ended up meeting a photographer on his way to work in Grasmere. He was standing in a lane (Cnr Helm Close and Murley Moss) beneath the canopy of a tree waiting for a break in the rain. He gave us directions to Easedale Tarn. We had a discussion about film V digital. He uses large format cameras. I didn't ask his name but I found a website for a photographer in Grasmere who uses a large format camera. http://www.unsworthphotographic.com/

Ciao Trevor
Buona domenica

hello Trevor ,
It not so easy to take pictures in rain conditions . Here , this is a success . I like the atospher , the strong green , the cloudy moutains in the FG , and the overall composition .
Splendid !

Hi trevor
a researched framing including the fence, and we follow the snaking path to visit the small village before discovering the rainy atmosphere on the hill. Thanks to the buttercups, we have a nice contrast with the grey weather.
Cheers

Bonjour Trevor,

Hδlsningar,
Gert

Hi Trevor,
Truly moody scene. The stormy sky and cold tonality made it so attractive and unique in my opinion. Well observed and composed. TFS.
Have a nice week,

Hello Trevor,
I have walked this path in good weather and have to admit, it still looks glorious even when rainy! That's the beauty of The Lakes, they look stunning any time ... with a good photographer!
This is a beautifully composed shot, the fence and gate for f/g interest and the winding path to lead leisurely into the lovely scenery. The low cloud adds atmosphere and makes the Lakeland houses seem even more appealing.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Trevor,
a very pretty picture, despite the bad weather. Very green, almost like in a fairytale. Somehow I am thinking of the home of Tolkien's hobbits.
A beautiful work.
Friendly greetings from Sweden
