Photographer's Note
Another shot taken at Appleby Horse Fair. Overexposed unfortunately due to bright sun. The young lads are showing off galloping the horses bareback up and down this road. You onlook at your peril! Pity about the blue portaloos but they do give you an idea that this is an event, a festival and a campsite.

Hi Bev,
Even from the thumbnail, I thought this was by you...perhaps it was the horses. However, I actually feel it is the lively human elements that separate your style from other pictures on TE, which have been taken in the UK.
I like the addition of the onlookers in the background. This is good Beverley.

Hi Bev .. just wanted to say your pictures all have a lovely quality of .. yesterday, somehow ..
For example this one could have been taken anytime from the 40's up to today .
I think it's a real acheivement .. it's not really the techy side more the eye you have.

Hi Bev, I like this shot. I've heard & read much about the Appleby horse fair, so it's good to see a photo of it - especially a very good one like this. You've captured the movement very well, and I like the rider's determined expression. Also a good sharp shadow. Perhaps it's tilted slightly (my imagination?) but no big deal. Nice one!
