Photographer's Note
The Sea Pool at Bude was created in the 1930s to provide a haven for safe swimming for the people of the town and the thousands of people who visit it each year.
The pool nestles under the cliffs on the north Cornwall coast and is topped up twice a day by the waves of the Atlantic. On a summer’s day the sprawling, sparkling expanse of the Sea Pool offers a blissful opportunity to escape from modern life and to laze, splash or bathe in calm sea water.
Bude Sea Pool is around 91m long and 45m wide, Bude Sea Pool is a semi-natural structure so these are approximate measurements.
I have uploaded another more restful image as a WS

Hello Les,
These four at least seem to be luxuriating in the splendours of the pool. Their silhouettes are nicely spread out across the frame whilst the railings and steps add a further touch of graphism to the scene. I like the lights and the cool blue tones. The water looks as if it might be a bit on the cold side.

Hello Les,
This is quite a stunning view. The three persons in the middle, jumping and splashing joyfully, look amazing. I had to look carefully to make sure they weren't actually statues (anything is possible in the world of public art). You captured them at a perfect moment when they provide so much life and movement to the view. They waves also make a great contribution to the liveliness of the photo. It's a very original composition and I like it a lot.
Best regards,
Gert
PS I don't see the promised WS :-)

Hello Les
You have caught a beautiful moment of high action here: human activity and the crashing of the waves. The attitudes of the bathers almost looks choreographed, which of course it can't have been. So either you waited and grabbed this decisive moment, shot loads and chose the best, or were just plain lucky. Given the WS image, I'm guessing the second option. But who cares? The end result is memorable. Good work.

Will

Hello Leslie,it was the intensity of the blue that initially caught my eye; what time of day was this?
You could not have asked for better poses from the people enjoying the water, your title sums it up very nicely.
Your workshop shot is excellent too.
Wonderful shot, probably unique!
Regards Jean.

Bonjour Leslie,
C'est assez rare de voir une piscine oω les eaux sont aussi violentes, mais quel plaisir pour les jeunes qui n'ont pas froid aux yeux. J'aime les belles teintes bleues de l'ensemble.
Amicalement

Hello Leslie
Lovely, but strange blue tones and a wonderful scene. Do I spot 4 or 5 swimmers? To the left, just before the rock, that might be a swimmer or a piece of rock...not sure there (but that's not really important, is it). The three in the middle certainly steal the show.
Good title for your picture too.
Cheers & congratulations.

Hi Leslie
The teenagers seem very happy to jump into the crashing waves, as on a theater stage!
Cheers

Ciao dear Les
hehehe I like your title. Those kids are mad jumping into that rough, cold sea. I notice the wetsuits and from the bluish caste to the image, can almost feel how cold it is. A beautiful, sharp image, superbly captured.
Have a lovely weekend, thanks for sharing
Lisa
