Photographer's Note

This picture was taken on the Chatyr-Dag massif of Crimean Mountains. This is near Angar-Burun peak (1453 m above sea level) on the Upper Plateau of Chatyr-Dag, which is only 90 m lower than the Crimea's highest peak Roman-Kosh (1545 m). The highest point of the Chatyr-Dag massif is Eklisi-Burun (1525 m).

At the right-hand part of the shot you can see the main Crimean pass, Angarskiy, thru which the world’s longest trolleybus line, Crimean Trolleybus Line, runs. This is its part connecting Crimean capital city Simferopol with the seaside resort Alushta.
