Photographer's Note
In the middle of Freedom Square, in front of Kharkiv Provincial Council, these Dutch football fans were waiting for start of their parade from here to the Metalist stadium (around 5 km), where a football game between Dutch and German national teams had to be.
The parade (the 2nd one of 3 during the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship) went along the Inanov Street, Pushkin Street, Constitution Square, Moscow Avenue, Kharkiv River Embankment, Rustaveli Street and thru the Horse Market to the stadium at the Plekhanov Street. I passed this route with thousands of Dutch fans and Kharkivs residents from the beginning to the end. I am going to show some my shots of this colorful procession on TE.

Яркие ребята. Ну а померанцевый цвет наверное добавляет другие ассациации. Интересный репортаж, одно перечисление улиц говорит о том, что границы это одно, а история и культура - другое.

I was wondering if you will show some reportage photos covering the event. This was certainly a great opportunity to get some more colorful photos. The orange color is amazing here and you manage to capture the fans with some lovely architecture in the background.

Hello Sergiy,
a well composed photo from a very close point of view that, combined with extraordinary sharpness, draws us into the frame making us feel as if we were surrounded by the cheerful crowd. The faces you have captured so sharply make this seem less of a crowd as we can distinguish the peoples' features and expressions so well. I like the inclusion of the buildings in the background and the plastic glass on the right as they offer the context of the memorable event. Lighting is superbly balanced, capturing the vividness and avoiding the glare of the very bright colours. Congratulations and thank you!
