Spring Fever, a photo from Basel Land, West

Photographer's Note

With the wonderful spring weather continuing across much of Europe Im still in the mood for another seasonal offering. This shot was taken not too far from where I live while out on a short bike ride. These trees were in full bloom, as was the field of rape behind, while the green fields were themselves vivid and luxuriant despite the lack of rain for quite some weeks. I would have preferred a few clouds to break up the flat sky, but none were in sight that day.

I like the way all these lines (green, trees, rapeseed) lead into the far back of the scenery. Of course a few clouds in the deep blue sky would have been lovely, but should you really complain? ;o)

A really amazing natural beauty, you did a wonderfull job in composing all the elements. The tracks on the field are very well placed in the frame, leading the eye into the distance, but allways in the company of these lovely trees.
The note is wonderfull too.

Don't complain about the lack of clouds. NE England is covered with one big cloud today; not even any detail.:)
This is a beautiful image; the excellent light has allowed you to show almost every blade of the green crops. All the lines work perfectly to lead our eye through the frame, including the diagonal line of blossom trees.

Magic, magic, magic!! Excellent POV, I like the way the trees run parallel to the lines in the field which take us deep into your pic! The white flowers on the trees are beautiful, it almost looks like it snowed on the trees only in the middle of spring :)

Hi Susanna, and thanks a lot for this fine add to the song title theme. A lovely photo of the apple trees (I guess) in full bloom, and a good compositional effort to have the trees off-centered versus the graphical and perspective aspect that is provided by the field at the right. This should make a fine wallhanger when printed in poster-size.

Wonderful image, very fresh and with very vivid colours. The quality of the picture is top with lots of details all over. the grass in particular is amazing. the mix of colour (green, yellow and white) is excellent. A very good one.

une belle combinaison de sakura et perspective, le ciel bien polarise permet au blanc des fleurs de contraster fortement et la perspectiv edu champ donne de la profondeur a ta photo, ce qui me plait, le cadrage est un poil serre a gauche je trouve.

Le printemps est sans doute la plus belle saison pour les paysages et la lumiθre dessine bien les volumes, comme il n'y a pas des nuages ton arbre aux fleurs blanches fait illusion ;_).

Le genre de photo de paysage et d'arbre que j'aime. Ces arbres sont superbes et sont dans un magnifique environnement. Et tu as trθs bien rιussit ΰ mettre en valeurs les arbres et le paysage. De plus les traces dans le champ ajoute un plus et renforce la perspective

Je suis ravi d'avoir fais ta connaissance samedi.
Ce beau printemp fait revivre les fleures blanches des arbres, l'herbe est d'un beau vert pas trop fort et le jaune du colza donne de l'ιclat ΰ ta superbe image. C'est bien qu'il n'y aie pas de nuage dans le ciel sa donne encore plus d'ιclat ΰ la photo.

Le joli mois de Mai n'est pas loin, ces arbres en fleurs se dιtachant sur un ciel bleu azur sont absolument magnifique. Ton angle de prise de vue est trθs bien choisi. Ces lignes qui nous amθnent trθs trθs loin au fond sont un plus pour ta compo.
Trθs belle rιalisation.
