Hi Will, the water is like a mirror and the reflex is unique, beautiful simmetry and framing, the mountain is wonderful, i like also the pastel colors and the light espacilay that reflected in the water, fascinating shot...regards,

A lovely picture and well worth the effort of an early morning rise and trek!

The reflections are truly stunning and the colours and contrasts are very true and natural - not, as you have pointed out, the oversaturated colours and exaggerated contrasts which we so frequently see here. An excellent, almost symmetrical, composition and exquisite detail and sharpness.

P.S. Good of Brian to point out a couple of tiny dust spots in the foreground - I must confess that my monitor attracts so much dust and crud that I wouldn't have noticed them myself!

La symιtrie du reflet de la montagne dans l'eau est trθs rιussie et due ΰ un bon choix de POV judicieux.
La couverture nuageuse qui surplombe la montagne donne un certain mystθre ΰ ta composition.
Ombres et lumiθre se font la part belle.

Hi Will,
It is fascinating to see this high alpine lake still, reflecting mountain tops and glaciers. Certainly worth hurrying. While I have visited Grindelwald many times, I've never taken First cable car up. Looks like one thing to add to to-do list.

It looks like a paint. One of those paintings that are trying to be as real as possible.
What you needed here was a duck somewhere in the foreground !!!
