A view of the valley near Leytron, taken from a mountain path near the village of Mayens-de-Chamoson, in the Canton of Valais. The autoroute can be seen cutting through the agricultural fields which are just becoming colorful with spring growth.

Sandy,
a very typical image of the Rhone flowing through the tight valley of Canton Wallis. The choice of the POV with the extensive view of the patchwork being cut through by the highway is an interesting one. The inclusion of the rock in the foreground is a good anchor for providing a 3-D impression.
