Just finished tanking my car....I heard an unsual metallic sound coming from behind...when a coloumn of tanks from Swiss Army appeared.
I immediately grabbed my camera and succeded in getting the last one moving across the falling snow.

Bella istantanea dei soldati svizzeri, organizzati come pochi altri per difendere una nazione che ha fatto della neutralitΰ la sua bandiera. Se hai viaggiato spesso in Svizzera, li avrai forse visti all'opera in varie situazioni, dagli interventi negli incidenti stradali alla pulizia delle strade. Hai mai letto "Il formidabile esercito svizzero" (john McPhee, Adelphi)?

Buona sera Silvio, grande amico,
tous mes compliments pour ta reaction. Entre tous les sujets romantiques sous la neige, tu as trouve un sujet matcho. Heureusement ca ne se voit plus dans ma region. En plus il n'a pas encore de la neige. Je suis pret pour un cycle romantique hivernale et je patiente.
Tu as de la chance de pouvoir voyager meme en decembre. Et tu as raison de ne pas te separer de ton camera. Tu le profites bien chaque fois. Pour mon bonheur aussi!

Bonjour Silvio,
C est vrai que c est plutot surprenant, il n y a plus trop qu en Suisse en Europe ou l on puisse faire de telles rencontres.
La photo penche un peu sur la droite, je pense que tu pourras la redresser sans perdre trop de champs et sans trop modifier le cadrage.

oh, the (in)famous Swiss tank division?? ;)) hope, no traffic accidents this time; no rogue tank operators running amock in the streets. lol. quite an unusual sight, i must say, given this is switzerland.
