Photographer's Note
Winters in Gotland seldom see much snow even though it gets cold. The shoreline at Gothemhammr consists mainly of stones. Previous to this shot it had been cold and windy for quite a while, sending cold water spray up on shore and thereby enveloping to stones in ice. I can tell you it was a very slippery maneuver trying to squat down and take this shot ;-)
I have increased saturation and contrast slightly.

I know this phenomenon on the lakes here, before the surface freezes, I like the way the pebbles shine and the visible coating.
Gotland is just beautiful
