Today on my lunch walk thru Stockholm. It's cold at the moment about -15 degrees celsius. That makes the sea misty. In the background you can see the masts of the sailing vessel af Chapman today a youth hostel.

The mix of steam and mist, with the sun filtering through the scene gives a spectacular 19th century, industrial revolution period atmosphere to this shot.

Det var lδngesedan vi fick se en av dina bilder hδr, vδlkommen tillbaka! Men en sεdan hδr fin bild, med flera bottnar, fφrstεr jag verkligen att man vill dela med sig av. Detta δr en poetisk bild med kyrkan i bakgrunden, vilken det nu kan vara, och en mindre bεt i fφrgrunden. Af Chapman framtrδder nδstan overkligt i dimman, som ett spφkskepp... De milda fδrgerna fεr mig att tδnka pε en litografisk bild. Verkligen en vacker och ytterst vδlkomponerad bild.

Great moody shot. The mists highlighting the masts against the Cathedral at back adds a certain amount of mystery and even gives the picture a 19th century look. Cheers, Neil

nice dreamy scene. seems like a shot from some movie. soothing to eyes. Well composed and framed. beautiful lights.

Would have been really good had the architecture in background been more on the right side so that the masts were much more distinct.

An impressinist painter could not do better... Marvelous pic. of the natural phenomena, as cold air move over relatively warm water's.
The masts seems to come out of the mist in fine clarity, along with the dome on background.
Fine collected the moment.

Extremely beautiful! Soft, but bold with strong lines. The mist assists in making the picture a unity; good storytelling and simultaneously as beautiful as a picture. This is one of the rare cases where I feel the black frame compliments the picture .... well done!
