Photographer's Note
Compared to my previous post this is a more classic view of a common buzzard circling high in the sky. Also this photo is taken along Fyris River south of Uppsala Common buzzards mainly hunts from a vantage point such as poles, trees, bushes and are less often hovering or flying low over hunting areas. The diet is varied, but mainly consists of rodents, such as voles and mice but also birds, mostly chicks, reptiles and amphibians. I can often be seen in ploughed fields when looking for worms and insects. It also seek carrion, especially in winter.

Hej Ulf,
A beautiful and dynamic capture of this impressive buzzard in full flight. Look at all those well rendered details! I like it a lot.
Re: I always reserve a seat in the back of the plane, but I was late checking in... but was happy that I could use the engine the way I did :-)

He or she is watching you :-).
Great composition: that makes the bird even
grander and it gives also the bird a kind
of freedom. Light management is also great:
no hard shadows and you can count each
feather.
