Photographer's Note
This photo was taken a few days earlier in the same place and from the same point of view as my previous photo, a bike path next to a busy road in the outskirts of Uppsala. Only the ears of the fox could be seen above the grass. People on bike passing by were looking in the same direction as I did but did not see anything. Then they looked at me and seemed to think what is this fool photographing? Just green grass? After a while my patience paid off. The fox is most likely hunting for mice or voles. When hunting they often stand or sit still and then all of sudden they make quick jump. It is not the same fox as in my previous photo. This is obviously a younger one. At the same time as I took the photo a lady the passed by exclaimed,what a beautiful fox!

Hi Ulf !
Not so easy to capture such life action, for the natural world is an amazing battlefield where animals and humans alike set traps against one another in a secret way. So, no wonder most of the fight is covered up forcing the prey ones to hide their "identity" underground in order to survive the plot on individual freedom or even life. Hmm, perhaps it's time to get veggeterian for the FOXy part of the media and the rest of us too !!!

Whaouh ! You definitely left the best for afters ! This is an incredible capture, with Mr Reynard in action illuminated by the morning sun ! I like the presence of the cornflower as if the fox was diving for it.
I must admit I can't make the difference between this animal and the one on your previous photo, but then, I am not an expert !
