Photographer's Note

February in Gothenburg is really just a matter of which kind of rain. While the rest of Sweden can have a beautiful winter Gothenburg, so close to the sea, have rain, pooring rain, windy rain or fog to choose from.

This day it was foggy in the morning, pooring a few hours around lunchtime and fog with a drizzle in the afternoon. The base of the clouds were just as high as the tallest buildings.

Drottningtorget (Queens square) is the square in front of the railway station and serves as a terminal for the trams. Gothenburg is depending on trams for commuting as there is no metro in the town. All the trams have the paintjob with three blue colors and the lines are separated both by number and by colorcode of the background of the number.

I think the building in the back used to be the main post office.
