Photographer's Note
This scene is from an island in the Bohuslan archipelago. A narrow sound appropriate for safe over night stays with the boat cuts through the island. On the other side of the sound I saw this sunchair left by a boat owner. It looked so lonely, so I had to pick up the camera. The altitude is rather hig – there are sailing boat masts just below the picture.
I wanted to put the chair more in the middle of the picture but I could not convince myself that it was worth loosing some of the nice cliffs. Your opinion?
Tech: Mild cropping. I have faded all colours but blue.

Extraordinary beautiful nature, I would even say, rock texture, so many repetitios it has. About that chair, honestly; I would not place it like that, but if it is needed, so, 1/6 shots length to left or down corner. IT does not look like natural either ? You asked :) , I said my opinion. Thank you very much of this rock view, Magnus.

Trθs originale cette composition, un siθge qui ne saurait trancher davantage. Cette formation rocheuse est trθs surprenante.
Excellent Magnus.

very nice Magnus, I like the selective color and very nice pattern of the cliff. I wonder what the boat owner doing there sitting in middle of the cliff ?

Great choice of motive, the blue chair makes the landscape come alive by the addition of a foreign object. The chair is also a substitute for a human presence in the frame. Just one thing - it would be better if not so centered.

Dette billede er virkeligt helt vildt flot! Den blε stol i midten af stenene! Kζmpefint!
Kontrasten er ogsε meget god, synes jeg!

The ppp is excellent, Magnus. It doesn't matter if this is a chairor anything else, the only thing that matters is the color, and it's beautiful. Maybe you could place the chair in the lower corner. Anyway, I like this shot very much.

Hi Magnus, Great original idea. You were right too choose for the cliffs: the cahar jumps out anyway. Good job

Marvellous picture. To answer your question I looked at the picture in paint shop pro. I cropped it on different ways and I found that there are quit a lot of thrilling possibilities. At first I thought it would be nice to see the blue chair closer, but on second thought “the chair is so awful lonely” in the original picture. I wished I had left that blue chair overthere on the rocks to seduce some photographers with sharp eyes

Oh - this one great - I like the fine and simple composition - blue and lightgrey colours works excellent together - congratulation Magnus with this fine work.

Very good picture. First, I had to look a few times before I saw what it is, en to see how you composed it. I find this very original. Very good darkness-light contrasts on the rocks.

I like this picture. It gives such a feeling of isolation, yet you know that a person had to be there at one time because they left the chair. It feels like those rocks could go on forever, and I like how you faded the other colors so that the blue would stand out more.

Hej igen.

Very nice scene. I like the contrast of the blue chair against the (now) pale rocks. Maybe the chair would have looked better higher up in the image, where the rocks are less colourful, but imho it should not be the central focus.
I like this picture, but there is something missing, that I can't put my finger on. It might be that the whole upper half is too pale, there is too much weight in the lower part and the upper part is lacking sth.
